From I-77:

Take Exit 14 at Hillsville onto Hwy. 58.  Stay on Hwy. 58 West through Galax, Independence, Volney.  Hwy. 58 turns left at Volney.  Travel 5 more miles after Volney to Bluebird Cabin.

From I-81:

Take Exit 45 at Marion onto Hwy. 16.  Travel Hwy. 16 south through Sugar Grove and Troutdale.  Turn Right at Volney onto Hwy. 58.  5 more miles to Bluebird Cabin.

From the NC/Jefferson Area:

Take Hwy. 16 North to Mouth of Wilson.  Turn left onto Hwy. 16.  Take Hwy. 16 to Volney.  Turn Left at Volney.  Travel 5 miles to Bluebird Cabin.
